SLAVES WAGE IS WRITING/RECORDING NEW MATERIAL...

Hello all & God bless you!

Just a little note to let you know that we are currently in the process of writing and recording
new material for a second Slaves Wage CD!

We are really excited about this as a group and so we will be devoting our time exclusively to
this end.  Unfortunately, that means we will not be booking any venues until the time our
second CD is completed.

We hope to have our second project complete by April 2009.  We are looking toward a 9-10
song CD.  I am very happy with our progress thus far as we already have 4 songs ready for
recording.  Be looking for titles on our second release such as "I'm Alive", "Faith Says" &
"Slowly But Surely".

We are really excited about working on this and completing it and we will definitely keep you
posted on our progress.

God bless you, our Friends, and thank you so much for your continued prayer & support!

Until next time, stay tuned for more from Slaves Wage!

SLAVES WAGE SAYS GOODBYE TO DAVID BLAIR...

Hello all & God bless!

It is with bitter sweet emotion that Slaves Wage says goodbye to David Blair, bass player.

Dave will be taking a position as a musician in a local church here in the DFW area.

Dave had been with the group since its inception some two and a half years ago and has
been such a blessing to us, as a band and individuals.

Thank you, Dave, for sharing your time, talent and yourself with us but, more importantly,
with the Lord Jesus Christ as we have worked (and will continue to work!) to see His
Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!  We pray God blesses you as
you continue to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness!

Until next time, stay tuned for more from Slaves Wage!

SLAVES WAGE...UPDATE...CD...

Hello all & God bless you!

It's been a while, hasn't it!

I just wanted to give you a quick update on what's been happening with us as a band,
including how work is progressing on our new CD.

First, we've decided to suspend our search for a bass player and a drummer for the
moment to devote ourselves to finishing up our second CD!  We will continue the search in
the beginning of the new year after we've completed the CD and it is ready for distribution.
If you are a bass player or a drummer (and you meet the criteria - see July 26th posting
below) and you are reading this and interested in being a part of Slaves Wage, please feel
free to contact us.  At the very least, we can keep your name on file and call you back in the
beginning of the new year.

As it concerns the new CD, I am very excited about what the Lord has given us, both in
terms of the music as well as in terms of the message.  There will be six songs on this CD
with titles including Breathless Sigh, Free, Hooked & Slowly But Surely  with a range of
topics from encouragement to the Body of Christ to run the race set before us with
patience to the delivering power of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to those who would
call upon His name and abide in Him.

The artwork above is a picture of the new album cover.  We hope you enjoy it!

As of right now, three of the six songs are in the process of being mixed and mastered, two
are ready for mixing and mastering and one is in the final stages of the recording process.
We hope to have the CD out and available before the end of this year.

Thank you so much to those of you who have encouraged us with your e-mails and have
been asking about the new CD!  We really appreciate your interest and we know that this
next CD will be even more of a blessing to you than the first one was!

We ask that you pray for us and this project as we work toward its completion, that the
Lord would continue to have His hand on every one who is a part of this project as well as
on every aspect of this project...to Him be the glory and the praise!

If you have any questions, please feel free to message us!  We would love to chat with you!

Thanks again for your prayers and support and until next time, stay tuned for more from
Slaves Wage!
